During your visit, you’re welcome to linger and enjoy the beauty of Fair Play with a leisurely picnic in the shade of our majestic oak trees, or enjoy your wine at the picnic tables on our Tasting Room Terrace.

Go off the beaten path and experience a more leisurely side of wine tasting. We invite you to visit us at Shadow Ranch, in the heart of the Fair Play wine country in El Dorado County, for tours and tastings.
Fridays through Sundays, 11 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I bring my dog?
A: Yes! We love dogs at Shadow Ranch! We just ask that pets be kept on leash and off the furniture.
Q: Can I bring my own picnic?
A: Yes! You are welcome to enjoy your own outside food on the patio. But if you're hungry and you forgot to bring a snack, we do offer charcuterie boards year-round and pizzas on Sundays in the summer.
Q: Do I need to make a reservation?
A: For certain events, such as food pairings, reservations are required so that we can best prepare to accomodate you. We certainly appreciate reservations for any other event or tasting you plan to attend, but we typically do not require them.
